On the basis of theoretical and empirical findings, one network generator was designed to measure theoretically firmly established social support dimension. The contest of network generator measuring social informational support exchange was adjusted to the characteristics of the experimental group - members and advisors of the Student Government at the University in Ljubljana. Experimental variations included the provision of one response scale (a binary scale), two data collection techniques (recognition and a free recall), two directions of support exchange (original and reversed questions) and elapsed time between repeated measurements (20 minutes).
