Abstract
Oxford Research is carrying out the customer impact survey for Innovation Norway (IN) in collaboration with Samfunns- og Næringslivsforskning (SNF). The surveys include companies that have received services from Innovation Norway in the years from and including 2003. For each cohort, a pre-survey is carried out one year after the service was provided and a follow-up survey four years later.
Innovation Norway offers products and services that will contribute to developing the rural areas, increase innovation in business throughout the country and profile Norwegian business and Norway as a travel destination.
The purpose of the customer impact surveys is twofold. Firstly, it is an internal purpose which is about improving and further developing Innovation Norway's operations. Second, there is an external purpose that answers the question "what have we gotten for our money?".
The survey covers the following areas:
1. General information about the project for which support is sought
2. The establishment's organization and implementation
3. The importance of Innovation Norway's support for strategy, expertise and networks
4. Innovation Norway's support results and effects
5. General information about Innovation Norway
6. Background information
Innovation Norway was established on 1 January 2004, and is a merger of the former SND, the Norwegian Export Council, the Norwegian Tourist Board and the State Guidance Office for Inventors.
