Typical forms and courses of personality development and social conduct as well as professional training and work habits of young people and young adults depending on social factors and social conditions. Topics: General personal orientations: introversion, extroversion; general contentment with life; satisfaction with certain areas of life; life planning, goals in life; life style orientation; social responsibility (self-respect, sense of community, striving for equity, partner faithfulness, readiness for action); religiousness. Politics/society: political interest; identification with Marxism-Leninism; identification with communists; evaluation of future ability of the socialist social system; relationship with the socialist state; relationship with the GDR and the socialist social system; relationship with the FRG and the capitalist social system; relationship with the class enemy; relationship with the enemies of the socialist order; influence of opinion of parents; attitude to religion; membership and participation in social and political organizations (FDJ, DTSB, DRK, GST etc.); individual significance of social-political work and social-political activities; general understanding of law; attitude to social property; political information; connection between media usage (FRG/GDR television, FRG/GDR radio) and political orientations. Leisure time/culture: leisure behavior; leisure interests; leisure activities (belonging to and participation in organized and unorganized leisure groups; cultural activities); furnishing with and possession of leisure consumer goods; media usage and media habits (radio, TV, daily press); living conditions in residential surroundings; monthly expenditures for selected goods, leisure activities and services.
