Politbarometer is a monthly series of surveys detecting the evaluations of situation in society and of the government performance. The Slovenian Politbarometer block borrowed questions from the German Politbarometer series by the Forschungsgruppe Wahlen, Mannheim. It repeats standard questions and additionally covers the current affairs. Each year part of the questions repeats also in personal field SJM survey.

Abstract
The study represents core SJM survey questions repeated from previous surveys, among those also the questions forming the SJM Politbarometer series. The emphasis is also on attitudes towards European integration; foreign investment and openness toward world in economic and cultural field, Slovene independence, and future integration plans. Current affairs contain the interethnic relations, attachment to the nation, attitudes toward immigrants, and problem of refuges in Slovenia in the light of war in former Yugoslavia. Short section deals with attitudes toward past, political affairs, and role of church and religion.
