Abstract

Knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of adults and parents towards vaccinations. Topics: 1. Vaccination behaviour and knowledge about vaccination in adulthood: self-assessment of health status; attention to one´s own health; employment status; activity in the medical field with patient contact; chronic disease; assessment of the importance of vaccinations for adults in selected diseases: Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox, meningococcus, seasonal influenza (influenza), pneumococcus and (women only) human papilloma viruses (HPV); vaccination in the last five years; advice on vaccination received; adviser (doctor, health insurance company, family, friends and acquaintances, others); knowledge of the protection of third parties through vaccinations because the transmission of diseases is prevented; vaccination causes (vaccination carried out due to professional requirements or regulations, due to travel); remembered vaccinations in the last five years; consent to statements on vaccination (if all are vaccinated, I do not also need to be vaccinated, get me vaccinated to protect others who cannot or do not want to be vaccinated); vaccination against measles as an adult carried out before 2011; importance of the protection of third parties against measles infection for the personal decision to vaccinate against measles as an adult; importance of the elimination of measles in Germany; vaccination against seasonal influenza carried out before 2011; offer of influenza vaccination at the place of work or respectively advise of influenza vaccination (gainfully employed persons only); knowledge of the vaccination recommendation against whooping cough for close contact persons of newborns; knowledge of the vaccination recommendation against measles for adults born after 1970; measles disease in childhood or as adults, or effective protection against infection by measles vaccination in childhood or adolescence; planned...

Probability Sample: Multistage Sample Oversampling (disproportional sampling) of a) females aged 16 to 25 years (n=500), b) pregnant women (n=502) aged 16 to 45 years, and c) mothers and fathers of children aged 0 to 13 years (n = 1.092). The group of pregnant women was screened as part of the daily representative telephone omnibus survey forsa.omniTel®.4. In the subgroup of women aged 16 to 45, it was determined whether they were currently pregnant and willing to participate in another survey. The group of parents of 0 to 13 year old children was also screened as part of the daily representative telephone omnibus by forsa.
