Abstract

The project has a background in the change that has taken place from a special school to a competence centre. In order to work in a special education network, the competence center needs to know what others think of them. Before the competence center knows what collaboration partners think about collaboration and services, as well as investigative expertise, they know little about whether the service they provide has real user value. The purpose of the project is to find out how the competence centre's partners (in this case teachers) assess the collaboration and the services the competence center has provided. In addition, the investigative expertise in various parts of the expertise network was evaluated. The project deals with teachers in various primary schools in Finnmark county, who in one way or another are connected to special education, and during the period 1994-1996 had dealings with the competence centre.
