Abstract

To collect information on the nature of the domestic economy of Liverpool's inner area (Abercromby and Low Hill Wards).
Earlier studies were carried out in 1955 and 1962/3
Main Topics:

Variables
The analysis is based on the 'social income' of resident households, including income (absolute and relative to the supplementary benefit level for each household), source of income, economic structure, demographic structure, housing conditions, tenure, amenities and household expenditure patterns. Comparative data from the previous studies (1955 and 1962/3) have been used to stress changes over time.
