Abstract

The investigation is an evaluation of the electronic health record system at Oslo University Hospital (OUS), Haukeland University Hospital (Bergen) and Haralds Hospital (Bergen) in 2014 and 2016. The purpose is to assess strong and weak aspects of the EHR in the hospitals, and how physicians regard these aspects. The investigation uses a survey instrument that focuses on detailed use of and satisfaction with the EHR used for various work tasks, as well as satisfaction in general. In addition, certain technical aspects are assessed, like response time, stability of the system and integration. The investigation was performed in parallel. At OUS, the EHR was replaced between the two surveys.
