The purpose of this survey was to investigate the labour market experience of a sample of 1980's graduates and higher diplomates in the six years since leaving higher education.

Sampling procedure

Random sample of one in six university graduates and one in four of all other leavers from other institutions. However, students obtaining a qualification in electronic engineering in Scotland formed a 100% sample.
