Abstract

Abstract copyright UK Data Service and data collection copyright owner.

The Bosnia Labour Survey was conducted as part of the Transformation of War Economies Project at the University of Bradford. Economic and financial statistics for Bosnia remain somewhat unreliable and variable, and the survey was used alongside other published sources to help compile an up-to-date and 'accurate as possible' table of economic and financial indicators for Bosnia-Herzegovina for 1998-2006. Further information may be found on the project web pages.
Main Topics:

The variables cover respondents' experiences of employment, including exploitation, harassment and whether wages were withheld; whether financial compensation was received and if so, how the money was spent; attitudes to job allocation, youth crime, bribery and exploitation in Bosnia; and respondents' demographic characteristics.
