Conservation of nature and forest ownership - a case study of Posavje area

The great part of forests in the Republic of Slovenia is privately owned. This study tries to find and analyze the factors that shape an owner's position toward the forest that is part of his or her property, and the possibilities of nature conservation in these forests. A forest owner's decisions are namely of vital importance for the conservation of nature.
