In addition to the core variables of the Microcensus Labour Force Survey (LFS), the LFS also has so-called ad-hoc-modules (AHM) that can vary from year to year. The EU-LFS ad-hoc-module 2011 on ‘Employment of disabled people’ includes questions about the topics: health problems and difficulties in basic activities, limitations in work caused by health problems in basic activities, special assistance by people with health problems in basic activities, limitations in work because of other reasons. All persons aged 15 and over, who were working or who had worked in the past were interviewed. The questions of the ad-hoc-module were asked following the questions of the basic programme.
