Respondent's perception of realities of life after migration as compared with expectations before migration in relation to financial, social, occupational, educational, climatic and general conditions. Experience of discrimination in employment, housing, education, in social life, by police or government. Respondent's perception of own condition at various stages of life cycle.<br> Scores on various scales: Goldberg, Kellner-Sheffield, Langner and Life Events Inventory. Diagnosis for psychiatric patients, time in treatment.<br> Background Variables<br> Age, marital status, place of birth (respondent and parents). Length of respondent's and spouse's residence in England. Type of residence, tenure, number of rooms, number of occupants. Place of residence of parents, spouse and children and date of last contact. Employment status, social class (respondent, spouse and parents).
