The whole industrial sector is devided into 40 industrial lines and 5 groups of industrial lines. Groups of industrial lines are: mining, basic and capital industry, capital goods industry, consumer goods industry, food and luxury food industry. Aim of this study is the demonstration of the employee’s regrouping-process between these industrial lines over time, the growth of total-industrials wage-level and the wage-level-growth differences by industrial sector, the wage- and employment trend participation of industrial sectors as well as the interdependencies between these industrial lines. Der gesamte industrielle Sektor wird in 40 Branchen und 5 Branchengruppen unterteilt. Branchengruppen sind: Bergbau, Grundstoff- und Produktionsgüterindustrie, Investitionsgüterindustrie, Verbrauchsgüterindustrie, Nahrungs- und Genussmittelindustrie. Ziel der Studie ist die Darstellung der Umschichtung der Beschäftigten zwischen den Branchen im Zeitablauf, die branchenbezogenen Abweichungen vom Wachstum des gesamtindustriellen Lohnniveaus, die Beteiligung der Branchen an der gesamtindustriellen Lohn- und Beschäftigtenentwicklung sowie den Interdependenzen zwischen diesen Bereichen.
