The series was formerly known as Industrial Stoppages Data and was the responsibility of the Employment Department. The title changed to Labour Disputes in the UK in 1992 and the Office for National Statistics took over responsibility when the Employment Department was abolished in 1995.Main Topics: The data base presents information on all recorded stoppages for the years 1985 to 1989.
