The Lewis survey, a replication of an earlier study carried out in Camberwell, concentrates on the relationship between life-events and difficulties and depression. The North Uist survey was an exploratory survey concerned to establish the prevalence of psychiatric disorder amongst women in a rural area.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;</abstract>
