This study is part of this ongoing series. In Poland, surveys were first carried out in 2018 during a research fellowship funded by the DAAD and later, between 2018 and 2021, within the project ‘Civil Society Unrest in Poland: A Comparative Analysis of Contemporary Protest’ (funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, grant no. FKZ 01UL1816X). The aim of this survey is to gain insights into the composition and attitudes of participants at the event com- memorating the 8th anniversary of the Smolensk Air Disaster. The focus is particularly on socio-de- mographic characteristics, political attitudes, and evaluations of the Smolensk air disaster and its consequences of the respondents encountered at the demonstration. The demonstration took place on 10/04/2018 in Warsaw. The research team estimated the attendance to be between 8,000 and 10,000.Seit 2003 führen Forscher*innen des Instituts für Protest- und Bewegungsforschung (Institut für Protest- und Bewegungsforschung, ipb, http://protestinstitut.eu) Umfragen bei Demonstrationen durch. Diese Studie ist Teil dieser fortlaufenden Reihe. In Polen wurden Umfragen erstmals 2018 im Rahmen eines vom DAAD geförderten Forschungsstipendiums und später, zwischen 2018 und 2021, im Rahmen des Projekts „Zivilgesellschaftliche Unruhen in Polen: Eine vergleichende Analyse zeitgenössischer Proteste“ (gefördert vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, Fördernummer FKZ 01UL1816X) durchgeführt. Ziel dieser Umfrage ist es, Einblicke in die Zusammensetzung und die Einstellungen der Teilnehmer der Veranstaltung zum 8. Jahrestag der Flugzeugkatastrophe von Smolensk zu gewinnen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt insbesondere auf soziodemografischen Merkmalen, politischen Einstellungen und Bewertungen des Flugzeugabsturzes von Smolensk und seiner Folgen durch die Befragten, die bei der Demonstration angetroffen wurden. Die Demonstration fand am 10.04.2018 in Warschau statt. Das Forschungsteam schätzte die Teilnehmerzahl auf 8.000 bis 10.000.
