This was done by means of a follow-up survey of some of the original respondents (and non-respondents) from the &lt;i&gt;Youth Cohort Study of England and Wales 1992-1994, Cohort Six Sweeps One to Three&lt;/i&gt; (held at the Data Archive under SN:3532).<B>Main Topics</B>:<BR>The dataset includes information on work history; secondary and further education; educational and vocational qualifications or NVQs; terms of employment: hours of work, wages, status; training; Youth Training and Training Credits; unemployment; part-time study; funding of training. Longitudinal/panel/cohortoriginal members of YCS Cohort Six were surveyed as follows :<br> 350 of 4489 in higher education who had responded at Cohort Six Sweep 3;<br> 2000 of 5024 not in higher education who had responded at Cohort Six Sweep 3;<br> 400 of 4935 who had responded at Cohort Six Sweeps 1 or 2, but not 3;<br> 250 of 2933 who had not responded at any of Cohort Six Sweeps 1, 2 or 3.
