      <abstract xml:lang="en">These data were used in order to (1) investigate the relationship between intergroup contact, perception of intergroup threat and ideological attitudes and behavioral intentions among members of ethnic majority and minority groups, (2) investigate the role of social norms in relationship between intergroup contact, perception of intergroup threat and intergroup attitudes and behaviors, (3) investigate the possible changes between aforementioned variables in one year period. One data set contains data collected in two time points on Croatian majority and four minority groups, students and their parent (only in the first time point) - cda1016_dat_integranorm_longitudinal.tab, while other data set contains data collected from two countries, Croatia and Serbia, in one time point on majority and minority students and their parents (cda1016_dat_integranorm_crossectional.tab).</abstract>

        <timeMeth xml:lang="en">Longitudinal: Panel: Interval<concept/></timeMeth>
        <sampProc xml:lang="en">Students from 6th, 7th and 8th grade of elementary school and all grades of high school from four multi-ethnic communities in Croatia and from Vojvodina in Serbia. In Croatia, schools were sampled from Vukovar and surroundings (minority Serbs), Daruvar and surroundings (minority Czechs), Istria (minority Italians) and Baranja County (minority Hungarians), where minorities practice education in their mother tongue (model A - where not possible than model B and C) and comparable majority schools. In Serbia, schools were sampled from Vojvodina following same principles. It was planed to collect data from  1200 students and 2400 parents in Croatia.<concept/></sampProc>
