Rehousing procedure, reason for moving/choice of new house, reason for decision to rent or buy. Details of previous residence. Respondents who owned or were buying their houses were asked for full details of method and means of purchase (deposit, mortgage, leasehold/freehold, etc). Area amenities and accessibility to shops, schools and employment was assessed-respondent's priorities for these services (and possession of garden and/or garage) was investigated.
