The individual question areas were adjusted according to the survey period. Theme: Evaluation of current political measures to contain the corona virus; willingness to install a corona warning app on the smartphone to track contacts of corona infected persons; reasons why the respondent would not use such an app under any circumstances (open question); Importance of various conditions for the use of this app (compliance with legal data protection regulations, automatic deletion of stored contacts to other people after two weeks, anonymity, no storage of the location, but only in whose vicinity, majority of the population also uses this app, no use of the app´s data for fines in case of infringements, e.g. to impose quarantine obligations, no behaviour control following the report of contact with a corona infected person, receipt of useful information on the corona virus); trust in various institutions as possible publishers of a corona warning app (Federal Ministry of Health, Robert Koch Institute, municipal health authority, a research institution (e.g. university), a company based in Germany, a global company such as Google or Apple). Demography: Sex; age (grouped); employment; education; net household income (grouped); party preference in the next federal election; voting behaviour in the last federal election.Im Auftrag des Presse- und Informationsamts der Bundesregierung hat das Meinungsforschungsinstitut forsa ab Kalenderwoche 12/2020 regelmäßig repräsentative Bevölkerungsbefragungen zum Thema ´Corona-Krise´ (COVID-19) durchgeführt. Die einzelnen Fragegebiete wurden je nach Befragungszeitraum angepasst. Themem: Bewertung der aktuellen politischen Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung des Corona-Virus; Bereitschaft zur Installation einer Corona-Warn-App auf dem Smartphone zur Nachverfolgung der Kontakte von Corona-Infizierten; Gründe, warum der Befragte eine solche App auf keinen Fall nutzen würde (offene Frage); Wichtigkeit verschiedener Bedingungen für die Nutzung dieser App (Einhaltung der gesetzlichen Regeln zum Datenschutz, automatisches Löschen gespeicherter Kontakte zu anderen Personen nach zwei Wochen, Anonymität, keine Speicherung des Standorts, sondern nur in wessen Nähe, Mehrheit der Bevölkerung nutzt auch diese App, keine Nutzung der Daten der App um Bußgelder bei Verstößen z.B. gegen Quarantäneauflagen zu verhängen, keine Verhaltenskontrolle im Anschluss an die Meldung über Kontakt zu einem Corona-Infizierten, Erhalten nützlicher Informationen zum Corona-Virus); Vertrauen in verschiedene Institutionen als mögliche Herausgeber einer Corona-Warn-App (Bundesministerium für Gesundheit, Robert-Koch-Institut, kommunales Gesundheitsamt, eine Forschungseinrichtung (z.B. Universität), ein Unternehmen mit Sitz in Deutschland, ein globales Unternehmen wie Google oder Apple).
