Topics: knowledge test: existence of chemical substances in selected products (food and drinks, clothing and shoes, electronic appliances, toys, cosmetics or beauty products, cleaning products, paints, furniture, as well as in the air); product testing on ingredients before purchasing; personal interested in a newly launched product containing new chemical products; assessment of product safety concerning chemical substances from countries outside the EU or within the EU; safety comparison of chemical substances in the EU and is today and ten years ago; attitude towards new chemical substances (scale: elimination of chemical substances from daily life is possible, reducing natural resources with  newly developed chemical substances, contribute to a better environment, role in industrial innovations, properly product testing of newly developed chemicals in the EU); ensuring the safety of chemical substances in the EU by EU authorities, national authorities or manufacturers themselves; preference for responsibility for the safety of chemicals: EU, member states, manufacturers.  Demographics: age; sex; age at end of education, employment and occupational status; region; type of community; own a mobile phone and fixed (landline) phone; household composition.</abstract><abstract xml:lang="de">Verbreitung chemischer Stoffe. Beurteilung der Produktsicherheit. Einstellung zu neuen chemischen Stoffen. Verantwortliche für Produktsicherheit.  Themen: Kenntnistest: Existenz chemischer Stoffe in ausgewählten Produkten (Lebensmittel und Getränke, Kleidung und Schuhe, elektronische Geräte, Kinderspielzeug, Kosmetika oder Körperpflegeprodukte, Reinigungsprodukte, Farben, Möbel sowie in der Luft); Produktüberprüfung auf Inhaltsstoffe vor dem Kauf; persönliches Verhalten bei neuen Produkten mit neu entwickelten chemischen Stoffen; Beurteilung der Produktsicherheit hinsichtlich chemischer Stoffe aus Ländern außerhalb der EU bzw. innerhalb der EU; Sicherheitsvergleich chemischer Stoffe in der EU derzeit und vor zehn Jahren; Einstellung zu neuen chemischen Stoffen (Skala: Verbannen chemischer Stoffe aus dem Alltag ist möglich, Ressourcenschonung durch neu entwickelte chemische Stoffe, Beitrag zur Verbesserung der Umwelt, Rolle bei industriellen Innovationen, sorgfältige Produktprüfung bei neu entwickelten chemischen Stoffen innerhalb der EU); Gewährleistung der Sicherheit chemischer Stoffe in der EU durch EU-Behörden, nationale Behörden bzw. den Hersteller selbst; Präferenz für Verantwortung für die Sicherheit chemischer Stoffe: EU, Mitgliedsstaaten, Hersteller.
