It was commissioned as part of the Gambling Commission’s commitment to the licensing objectives of keeping crime out of gambling, ensuring gambling is conducted fairly and openly, and protecting children and vulnerable people from harm from gambling.<br> <br> The questionnaire asked respondents to record whether they had gambled on a range of activities in the past year and past week. Past gamblers were asked questions pertaining to venues for gambling and how much they won or lost on each activity.
