      <abstract xml:lang="en">Data were collected as part of the ‘Digital Wellbeing - Schools’ study, which was carried out between 2017 and 2018 and promoted by the Digital Wellbeing research centre, which deals with the relationship between digital media and quality of life.    In particular, the study included a training intervention on new media education aimed at teachers and 10th grade students (in the second year of secondary school). The impact of this intervention was verified through a randomised experiment carried out in 18 schools in the territorial areas 23, 27 and 28 of the provinces of Milan and Monza-Brianza (Lombardy region, Northern Italy), involving a total of 3,361 students.    The dataset contains the data collected during the study. Specifically, the information collected concerns:  - the socio-demographic characteristics of the students involved - uses, perceptions and attitudes towards the new media and their own well-being - measurements related to a test on digital skills to which they were subjected.</abstract>
