The research aimed to investigate the impact of wildfire management strategies on the outcome of informal settlements and wildfire at a fire-dependent wildland urban interface. Datasets were collected to firstly frame the spatial extent of landcover change and fire patterns change from 1990-2019. Following this a survey was done to investigate the decision-making of residents under fire risk to stay in the informal settlement.
