While the main purpose of the QNHS was the production of quarterly labour force estimates, the QHNS also conducted special modules on different social topics each quarter. This special module was on voter participation. This special module was undertaken in quarter 3 2002 which was from June to August 2002. <br> The module was initiated as part of the Public Opinion and Political Behaviour Research Programme at the UCD Geary Institute. The Geary Institute would like to acknowledge the contribution of the working group of academics and of government and CSO officials that assisted in the design of the study and of the questionnaire.<br> Please note that due to CSO restrictions, these files cannot be matched to their associated microdata files 2002-062002-08 Ireland Individual Individual 18 years or over on the 1st May 2002 who were born in Ireland or are Irish or British citizens. Survey data Cross-section ISSDA may only supply data for use in the EEA and adequacy decision countries.
