On the occasion of oral testimonies of Jews and Christians who are in a mixed marriage, as part of an anthropological study, the book presents a topic in which societies avoid delving into the details as people find it difficult to talk about their private stories, experiences, personal dramas. , because they are afraid of being exposed and exposing their family to the closed social environment. The issue of mixed marriages between Jews and Christians in the city of Volos under study for the last 30 years for many of those involved, their social environment, was taboo, a difficult issue in the private sphere. Known and unknown aspects emerged through the personal interviews-testimonies of the protagonists themselves and with the appropriate reductions and generalizations to interpret the deeper meaning of the behaviors of individuals, social groups and societies. The central issue of this anthropological study was to investigate the degree to which society is influenced by stereotypes and whether they have a deterrent effect on the performance of a marriage between a Jew and a Christian. Interview interview is the new mosaic of the psychosynthesis of modern Greek society and sheds light on the transition that has taken place from one historical phase to another: from the aphoristic discrimination before and during World War II to the repulsions after it and then to the current attitudes of tolerance and receptivity imposed by social order and imposed by the value code of Western democratic ideology.
