Attitude to new weedkillers, paying for carcase disposal. Acres of corn planted in 1968, type of bedding used for dairy herd, disease problems in dairy herd, method of breeding cows and heifers. Satisfaction with American Dairy Association and present feed grain programme.&lt;br&gt; Questions asked of women only: ownership of home conveniences, type of shortening used in cooking, whether margarine kept in home, whether help given with milking, problems with spoilage or poor quality in dairy products purchased. Attitude to birth control and teachers' salaries.&lt;br&gt; Questions asked of men and women: magazine readership. Amount of thought given to and degree of interest in forthcoming elections, political support, voting pattern and intention. Opinion on most serious problem in USA, importance of gold reserves, Vietnam, which party would better prevent riots and racial violence, which party better at working for peace. Attitude to larger corporations buying land and farming, farm tax reductions, supermarkets producing the food they sell, imitation milk, a law prohibiting youths under 16 running certain kinds of farm machinery. Attitude to snowmobiles. Ownership of horses/ponies. Whether man or woman keeps farm accounts, whether woman helps with fieldwork, whether wife makes farm purchasing decisions.&lt;br&gt; Background Variables&lt;br&gt; Age, sex, school-leaving age, religion, type of farmer, tenure of farm, amount of time spent farming, membership of farm organisations, whether any one aspect of the farm accounts for more than 10% of the farm's income, annual total gross income.</abstract>
