The surveys were designed to measure attitudes toward gender equality, feminism, as well as threat perceptions, perspective-taking, and willingness to become politically involved. They include items on support for gender equality policies, solidarity with feminist movements, and views of anti-gender narratives. The surveys also assess democratic attitudes, trust in political institutions, political interest and participation, and broader social and cultural orientations. A dedicated module examines the intersectional impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on work arrangements, caregiving responsibilities, household dynamics, and well-being. Fieldwork was conducted online by YouGov.
