This dataset presents the findings from a comprehensive online survey investigating Austrian voters’ perceptions of political party responses to electoral competition, particularly in the context of populist challengers. Conducted between March 3rd and March 14th, 2023, by the MARKET Institute via a panel of 30000 individuals, the survey achieved a representative sample of 2013 respondents, matching national demographic distributions in terms of gender, age, federal state, and education level. The questionnaire, consisting of 21 questions, explored voter attitudes through various dimensions, including political interest, vote recall, party alignment, and specific policy issues ranging from social welfare to immigration.
