The focus was on attitudes towards the following question complexes: 1. Infrastructure in one´s own region: importance of infrastructure development in the region (development of the mobile network, public transport, long distance public transport, broadband network and road renewal; satisfaction with the quality of one´s own mobile network in general, at home, in German cities and in rural areas in Germany; ownership of mobile phone or smartphone; satisfaction with the quality of the mobile network at home, in German cities and in rural areas in Germany. 2. Level of information: Self-assessment of the level of information about the current projects for the expansion of the mobile network in Germany; interest in information about the current projects for the expansion of the mobile network in Germany; awareness of the so-called mobile phone standard 5G. 3. Mobile phone standard 5G: attitude towards expanding the mobile network with 5G technology; advantages and disadvantages of expanding the mobile network with 5G technology (open); agreement on various statements on the 5G mobile phone standard (5G technology is essential for important digital applications, 5G technology radiation is harmful to health, the German government is ensuring that existing limits on radiation exposure from mobile radio are observed, 5G technology is partly responsible for the current corona crisis); opinion on cooperation with the Chinese company Huawei in expanding the 5G network. 4. Demography: sex; age; education; occupation; household size; net household income; number of persons in household aged 14 and over; party preference; eligibility to vote. Additionally coded: current. No.; date of interview; city size (BIK); federal state; region (west/east); sample mobile vs. landline; weighting factor.Die Kurzumfrage befasst sich mit den Einstellungen der Bevölkerung zur digitalen Infrastruktur in Deutschland und insbesondere zum Aufbau des Mobilfunkstandards 5G. Im Mittelpunkt standen Einstellungen zu folgende Fragekomplexen: 1. Infrastruktur in der eigenen Region: Wichtigkeit des Infrastruktur-Ausbaus in der Region (Ausbau des Mobilfunknetzes, des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs, des öffentlichen Fernverkehrs, des Breitbandnetzes sowie Erneuerung der Straßen; Zufriedenheit mit der Qualität des eigenen Mobilfunknetzes allgemein, am Wohnort, in deutschen Städten und in ländlichen Gebieten in Deutschland; Besitz von Handy oder Smartphone; Zufriedenheit mit der Qualität des Mobilfunknetzes am Wohnort, in deutschen Städten und in ländlichen Gebieten in Deutschland. 2. Informationsstand: Selbsteinschätzung der Informiertheit über die aktuellen Vorhaben zum Ausbau des Mobilfunknetzes in Deutschland; Interesse an Informationen über die aktuellen Vorhaben zum Ausbau des Mobilfunknetzes in Deutschland; Bekanntheit des sogenannten Mobilfunkstandards 5G. 3. Mobilfunkstandard 5G: Einstellung zu einem Ausbau des Mobilfunknetzes mit der 5G-Technologie; Vorteile und Nachteile bei einem Ausbau des Mobilfunknetzes mit der 5G-Technologie (offen); Zustimmung zu verschiedenen Aussagen zum Mobilfunkstandard 5G (5G-Technologie ist für wichtige digitale Anwendungen unerlässlich, Strahlung der 5G-Technologie ist gesundheitsschädigend, Bundesregierung achtet auf die Einhaltung der bestehenden Grenzwerte zur Strahlenbelastung durch den Mobilfunk, 5G-Technologie ist für die aktuelle Corona-Krise mitverantwortlich); Meinung zu einer Kooperation mit dem chinesischen Unternehmen Huawei beim Aufbau des 5G-Netzes. 4.
