The aim of EUYOUPART was to develop a high-quality instrument for the comparative measurement of political participation of young people in Europe. The project was conducted by a research team of eight participating countries (Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Italy, Austria, Slovakia and Great Britain) and managed by SORA as scientific and administrative coordinator. The challenge for the research team was to achieve a high level of comparability of the data despite the different political cultures and methods of participating, the different research cultures and the problem of translating the different concepts into the eight languages and cultures. ->The instrument is a model questionnaire based on the strengths and weaknesses of the previous empirical research in the field of youth and politics.
