As in 2008, the data were collected using Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing.<br> <br> A total of 3,999 interviews were carried out, 1,988 interviews with claimants and 2,011 with employers. The average interview length in the claimant survey was 33 minutes and in the employer survey 27 minutes.<br> <br> This is the sixth survey in a series dating back to 1987.
