This can lead to a range of issues for them, for example not taking medications due to cost or not paying household bills to afford healthcare. They were then asked what healthcare services they would prioritise if they were faced with financial constraints. Then they were asked to explain their decisions and some questions about their real life experiences of financial issues related to healthcare. The company primarily recruited from their pre-established national online research panel of 27,951 people aged 16 years or over. large proportions of certain groups had not used the internet in the three months prior to the survey, particularly those aged over 75 years and over (56%) and the socioeconomically most disadvantage quintile (16%) (34) . To increase the response rate among these groups, supplemental door-to-door recruitment was carried out.
