In each of ten countries (Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Belarus and Ukraine) approximately 1,000 respondents were interviewed face-to-face about economic, political and social attitudes and behaviour. The same questions were asked in each country and repeated from year to year, so trends can be analysed across a wide variety of post-Communist societies, and over time.
