Study 1 and Study 3 are also available in the GESIS repository. The data and syntaxes presented here originate from the second study (Study 2), in which we developed and evaluated the new research instrument Morality as Cooperation–Deviance Relevance Scale (MaC-DRS). In this study, the MaC-DRS is empirically tested and compared with two leading measures in moral psychology: the Moral Foundations Questionnaire 1 (MFQ-1) and the Morality as Cooperation Questionnaire (MaC-Q). The dataset is based on a quota sample from Germany comprising N = 2,326 participants. Both raw (N = 2,362) and cleaned datasets (N = 2,326) are provided. Psychometric analyses were conducted on the latter using model-based approaches, including exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses as well as reliability assessments. In addition, data preparation procedures and syntaxes for Stata 13 and Mplus (version 8.10) are made available.
