R code and data are also provided so that interested users can use them to reproduce (but also to re-run the calculations making different assumptions) the results published in <i>The Economic History Review</i> (see the 'External Note' section below) and generate the data provided to History Data Service.<br> <br> <br> Please note: this study does not include information on named individuals and would therefore not be useful for personal family history research.
