The teaching dataset contains fewer variables and has been subjected to certain simplifications and additions for the purpose of learning and teaching. <br> <br> The main differences are: <ul><li>the number of variables has been reduced;</li><li>extra variables (based on variables from the original QLFS OD12 dataset) have been added, including a weight for which mean=1;</li><li>a reduced codebook is provided.</li></ul>Further information is available in the study documentation (below) which includes a dataset user guide.<br> <br><B>Main Topics</B>:<BR>The main topics covered are: socio-demographics, employment, housing tenure, education, health. Simple random sample Compilation or synthesis of existing materialThe QLFS is collected by face-to-face interview and telephone interview, but the teaching dataset has been created by simplifying the original data. <p>The Data Collection is available to UK Data Service registered users subject to the <a href="https://ukdataservice.ac.uk/app/uploads/cd137-enduserlicence.pdf" target="_blank">End User Licence Agreement</a>.</p><p>Commercial use of the data requires approval from the data owner or their nominee.
