Sijoittumisseurantakysely on lähetetty kandidaateille, jotka ovat valmistumisen jälkeisenä vuonna suorittaneet enintään kymmenen opintopistettä, jotta kysely on voitu kohdistaa paremmin erityisesti työelämään siirtyneille kandidaateille. Kyselyssä kartoitettiin aluksi vastaajien koulutus- ja tutkintotaustaa, esimerkiksi aiempia tutkintoja ja suunnitelmia maisterin tutkintoa koskien. Seuraavaksi kysyttiin kandidaattien työtilannetta valmistumisen jälkeen: montako kuukautta on ollut työttömänä tai työssä; millaista työtä on tehnyt ja mikä taho on ollut työnantajana. Kyselyssä tiedusteltiin myös kandidaattien työllistymiseen vaikuttaneita tekijöitä, kuten hakukanavia, eri taitojen ja kokemusten vaikutuksia työpaikan saamiseen sekä työllistymistä vaikeuttaneita asioita. Lopuksi kartoitettiin vielä vastaajien tyytyväisyyttä työhönsä ja Tampereen yliopiston opetustarjontaan, kandidaatin tutkinnon ja harjoittelujakson hyötyjä sekä yliopisto-opiskelun vaikutuksia erilaisiin työelämässä hyödyllisiin taitoihin. Aineistossa on taustamuuttujina kandidaattitutkinto, koulutusala, tutkinto, yksikkö, aloitusvuosi luokiteltuna ja sukupuoli.The survey charted the employment situation and job placement of persons who had graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Tampere in 2011. The survey was divided into four different parts; education history, current employment status and employment history, factors affecting employment, and happiness with the employment situation and the degree programmes at the University of Tampere. The survey was sent to those graduates who had received 10 credits (ECTS) or less in the year following their graduation. The first part of the survey studied the respondents' current education and their plans for education in the future. The second part of the survey charted the current employment and the employment history of the respondents. This included questions on the type and length of current employment and the type of employment the participants had had during their studies. The third part of the survey charted which factors had been the most important in obtaining their current job and which factors may have hindered or prevented them from finding a job. The participants were also asked about the channels they used when looking for work. In the fourth part of the survey, the respondents were asked about their happiness with their current employment situation, their view on how their job corresponded with their education, and what advantages having a bachelor's degree had given them in the labour market. The participants were also asked about their satisfaction with the degree programmes at the University of Tampere. The survey also investigated their views on whether their education had provided them with useful skills and abilities (e.g. information seeking skills, social skills, language skills, skills related to the field of study) that were relevant in working life. The background variables included the respondent's degree programme, faculty, field of study, gender, and time of starting studies.
