Specifically, the project was intended to produce a case study of the commercial applications of art techniques in fine English earthenware, porcelain and glass, with a subsidiary interest in ornamental metalware and works on paper; and to trace the connections between manufacturers and designers, finishers, decorators and artists.<B>Main Topics</B>:<BR>The data contain information regarding manufacturers, consumers, artists, designers, decorators and finishers in the ceramics and glass industries in a number of English towns and counties (particularly Bristol and Liverpool).
