Method of approach to GTC, reasons for coming to GTC, family's attitude to GTC training. Choice of trades and GTCs, freedom of choice and compulsion involved in choice. Method of selection for GTC and attitude towards method experienced, waiting period required before coming to GTC. Reactions to courses taken. Living arrangements, domestic circumstances, income source and level during GTC period. Experience of obtaining a job after leaving GTC (whether knew beforehand, if not, how obtained). Post-training careers, number and types of jobs, rates of pay, working hours. Reasons for taking and leaving jobs, how jobs obtained. Trade union membership and experience of trade union acceptance/rejection. Job satisfaction. Attitude to GTC and willingness to recommend others to attend GTC.
