Mittels Befragungen von Betrieben und Müttern werden statistische Informationen zu Erwerbsunterbrüchen erfasst und die damit verbundenen Herausforderungen für Betriebe und Frauen beleuchtet. Zudem werden der reglementarische Rahmen in der Schweiz sowie Lösungsansätze anderer Länder analysiert.Le projet de recherche contribue à répondre au Postulat Maury Pasquier (15.3793), qui demande au Conseil fédéral de préparer un rapport sur les interruptions de travail des femmes enceintes avant la fin de leur grossesse. Des informations statistiques sur les interruptions de travail ont été collectées par le biais d'enquêtes auprès des entreprises et des mères, permettant d'éclairer les défis que ces interruptions représentent pour les employeurs et les femmes. De surcroît, les cadres réglementaires en Suisse, ainsi que les solutions mises en place dans d'autres pays ont été analysés.The Maury Pasquier postulate (15.3793) invites the Federal Council to present a report on breaks in the employment of pregnant women and to examine whether there is a need for political action in Switzerland in relation to this matter. A representative online survey of 2,809 women who gave birth to a child in 2016 gathered information about their employment histories and the economic and social protectionrelating to pregnancyrelated employment breaks. In addition, an online survey of 3,575 companies was conducted in order to obtain information about concrete experiences, the need for action and possible solutions from the employer’s perspective.
