During the war of the 90s he worked for the newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija, which they kept publishing in the besieged town of Dubrovnik. In the interview he reflects on the events in Montenegro in the late 80s, and the raise of nationalist sentiments after the death of Tito. In Dubrovnik, the situation got worse and worse during the war.
