The teaching dataset is a subset which has been subjected to certain simplifications and additions for the purpose of learning and teaching. The main differences are: <ul><li>the teaching dataset contains data from April-May 2015 only; <li>the number of variables has been reduced; <li>a reduced user guide with codebook is provided; <li>some variables have been recoded due to concerns about statistical disclosure;</ul>Further information is available in the study documentation (below) which includes a user guide. For the second edition (August 2016) a new weighting variable has been added to the data and the user guide has been updated accordingly. Main Topics: The Well-Being Module, (Module MCZ), was originally asked on behalf of ONS and respondents were enquired of their well-being, rating it on a scale of 0-10, where 0 is generally low and 10 high. The main topics covered by this teaching dataset are:<ul><li>life satisfaction; <li>emotional states; <li>employment; <li>socio-demographics.</ul> Great Britain IndividualsFamilies/householdsNational Adults, aged 16 or over, living in private households in Great Britain. Numeric Cross-sectional (one-time) studyThe OPN is a repeated cross-sectional study, but this teaching dataset has been compiled using only data from the April - May 2015 Well-Being Module.
